Welcome to arbornight.com!
Hello! First and foremost I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my page and my art. This is a very exciting step for me. I've waited a long time to launch my website but it's finally here and I want to hear from you! Besides photos of my art, what are you interested in seeing or reading about?
I'm still photographing and editing, and adding my artwork so bare with me while it seems a little sparse right now lol
This whole building and making a website is all new for me. I'm an artist, not so much a tech person. ;)
A little background info. I am a self taught artist. I've been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember. For me, music goes hand and hand with my art. More often than not, I listen to music while I paint. It sets the mood and inspires what I put on canvas. My biggest inspiration in the art world first of all was my uncle Kenny. He gave me my first "lesson". While watching him, I created my first real piece of art at the young age of 9 and I've been hooked ever since! I loved growing up and wathching Bob Ross on t.v. There was just something about his show that made me think, "I CAN paint too!". I love, love, love trees and being in the forest. I could sit amongst the trees for hours. I'm happiest when I'm surrounded by nature's beauty.
My other art inspiration is Mark Ryden. I may be slightly obsessed. Not only do I own some of his art and vinyls, but I have two of his pieces tattooed on me! What can I say, my body is also a canvas I like to use for self expression.
My musical tastes are wide in range. My favorites are Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden Flyleaf/Lacy Strum, KT Tunstall, Thirty Seconds to Mars, Coheed and Cambria and Modern Chemisty just to name a few. lol
I read a lot!! Tolkien, Neil Gaimen, B.C. Burgress, Eden Hudson, P.C. Cast are just a SMALL list of my favorties.
I'm glad you're here. I hope you enjoy what you see, and are not a stranger, visit often and share what you love.
